In 2021, we made the bold decision to leave the city, uproot our four kids, sell our home, and move onto 54 acres of nothing—just us, a caravan, and a wild winter ahead. What started as an adventure quickly became our dream, shaping Wildwood into a retreat where people could slow down, reconnect, and experience nature in its purest form.

We truly believe we didn’t find Wildwood—Wildwood found us. Each eco tent has its own story, and you’ll find those stories, along with ours, in your welcome book.

What should I pack?

Arrive, unwind, indulge—everything is ready for you. Pack light—your luxury eco tent is fully equipped. Enjoy a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, premium coffee machine with milk frother, and curated crockery & cutlery. Your private undercover BBQ and heating plate make outdoor dining effortless.We provide a seasonal fire starter pack, premium firewood, artisanal bug spray, ambient lanterns, and umbrellas for all-weather comfort. Indulge in a spa-like experience with plush towels, eco-luxe shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Just bring yourself, a toothbrush, and seasonal clothing—everything else is taken care of.



Is there electricity?

Yes! Our eco tents are solar-powered with USB and C-port outlets.

How do we keep the eco tents cool + warm?

Our eco tents are designed for year-round comfort, blending sustainability with luxury. Stay warm with a designer EcoSmart Fire, powered by clean-burning bioethanol for instant, smokeless heat. Plush bedding and cozy blankets add extra warmth. Keep cool and enjoy natural airflow with large openings and roll-up canvas walls. A high-powered fan ensures circulation, and air conditioning may be used on hotter days for extra cooling.

What is The Steam Lodge?

The Steam Lodge is a sanctuary for relaxation and wellness, offering an ice bath, sauna, and a scenic outdoor shower. Open from sunrise to sunset, it's powered by the sun and centrally located to enhance your Wildwood experience. Booking is essential.

What should I bring to The Steam Lodge?

Please bring a towel (extras are provided), a water bottle, and your bathers. Before your session, it’s very important to read the terms and conditions and tick the confirmation box before entering The Steam Lodge. These will be sent to you via email and text upon booking. Then, relax, unwind, and enjoy

Are there kangaroos?

Yes! Wildwood is home to kangaroos, birds, and other wildlife. You'll often see kangaroos grazing and jumping around, especially in the mornings and late afternoons. We don’t allow driving on the property to give guests the experience of being in nature and to keep our kangaroos safe. Please do not feed them—it can harm their health. Simply observe, take photos, and let nature thrive.

How close are the various amenities?

To maintain the nature park feel, there is no driving on the property beyond the designated parking area. Parking is a 2-5 minute walk from the eco bungalows, which are spaced 40-60 meters apart for privacy. Gorilla pull-along buggies are provided to help with your belongings and we have nature paths to make this easy for you. If you need assistance, we have a golf buggy and will gladly take you to your accommodation. The Steam Lodge is centrally located for convenience.
